Jim believes that learning to make music should be relaxing, rewarding, and tailored to fit an individual's desires and needs. He also strives to help individuals develop self-discipline, improve their musical abilities, and reach their goals. For children ages 6 to 11, he uses the James Bastien Piano Basics series. When teaching adult students, he uses Alfred's Adult All-In-One piano series. Jim also teaches jazz piano, keyboard, and classical piano. He is skilled in teaching every age and level of ability. |
