Jim Hallwyler has been in the music industry for over 30 years. He finished his B.M. degree in music theory and composition at the University of Puget Sound, and then earned his M.M degree in music education and conducting at the University of Oregon. Jim worked for Lowrey Organ, Story & Clark Pianos, and Kimball Piano & Organ as a district sales manager for 15 years. It was always his desire to own a music business-offering excellent products and services at good prices, making music enjoyable for people of all ages. In 1988, Jim, his wife Karen, and their three children moved to Eugene, Oregon. In 1989, Jim started J & K Keyboards. |
